There are lots of changes happening with me and d3 fitness. After the New Year I started training clients a few days a week at a local gym called Big Vanilla. It’s an old indoor tennis complex turned into a giant fitness and wellness facility just north of Annapolis in an area of Arnold off Richie Highway. Training here allows me to meet with their new members and talk to them about the importance of personal training and nutrition within a fitness regimen. Most people tell me, “I know what I’m doing”, “I’ve got my own little routine”, have read an article about such and such, or “I’ve had a trainer before and didn’t get the results I wanted”. All of these are excuses…it reminds me of the definition of insanity: doing the same thing over and over without achieving results. If you’re ever going to achieve results it’s going to come down to intensity, ie. how hard you work. If you’re willing to push during your session whether it’s 30 mins, 45 mins or an hour you’re going to achieve your goals. It’s pretty simple. Work hard, put in the time, the results will take care of themselves. You can train with me at Big Vanilla whether you’re a member or not. Non-members get a free 30 day trial membership when you’re a guest of a personal trainer. If you’d rather train in a more secluded setting we can train at my home facility off of Riva Rd. and 665, or we can train in the comfort of your home, or we can train at the CrossFit facility in Edgewater.
